The eighth annual Transcending Boundaries conference this fall is entitled “Beyond Binary,” focusing on those who defy gay/straight, male/female, committed/single and the countless other binaries that plague our society’s view of sexuality. The conference is intended to explore the “neithers, boths, in-betweens and more than ones” in a comfortable environment that encourages sharing, story-telling, socializing. The key-note speaker for the event is the fabulous Kate Bornstein, author ofGender Outlaw and 101 Alternatives to Suicide for Teens, Freaks and Other Outlaws. Everyone is welcome who wishes to learn more about gender and sexuality.
