Each week the CSPH highlights an upcoming workshop, conference, and other continuing education opportunity pertaining to sexuality, gender, or reproductive justice issues. This week we are featuring The Sexuality and Aging Consortium at Widener University’s second annual Sexuality, Intimacy, and Aging conference: A Holistic Approach to Sexuality and Aging.

What: The second annual Sexuality, Intimacy, and Aging conference, “A Holistic Approach to Sexuality and Aging.”

When: September 14-15
Why: The two-day conference will showcase a variety of speakers and workshops focusing on being sexual and the aging process. While Friday’s activities will include an array of workshops and presentations, Saturday will be a SilverSAR (Sexuality Attitude Reassesment). Interested persons should be aware that the SAR will feature sexually explicit media. Last year the SAR was completely sold out, so register early! Conference participants will be eligible for continuing education credits for AASECT, NASW, and APA certifications. This conference is geared toward professionals who work with older adult clients.
