The Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health is proud to announce the release of our latest project: a comprehensive map of U.S. college and university organizations tackling issues of sexuality and gender. Consisting of a state-by-state database of education, advocacy, and empowerment organizations in colleges and universities across the country, The Map serves as the first inclusive listing of the vast array of student and college involvement in the fields of sex-positivity and education.
The Map can help connect like-minded people who want to bring sexual health, education advocacy and empowerment to their schools and academic environments. This map was created to help support a sex-positive community, as too often people can feel alone in the work that they are conducting, unaware there is a friend nearby.
In addition to listing these organizations and the names and locations of their affiliated colleges or universities, The Map includes contact information for the group coordinators. This database currently contains over 1,000 organizations, and will feature regular updates to ensure that it stays current. As The Map is an ever-evolving work-in-progress, we are always looking for more organizations to add to our database, so if you would like your campus’ organization to be included, contact us at aida@thecsph.org.
