Each week the CSPH highlights an upcoming workshop, conference, or other continuing education opportunity pertaining to sexuality, gender, or reproductive justice issues. This week we are featuring the Black Girl Project’s 2012 Sisterhood Summit.
What: The 2012 Sisterhood Summit, “PYT: Pleasure, Youth, and Transformation”

Why: The 2012 Sisterhood Summit features two tracks — one for youth and one for adults — with separate age-inclusive opening and mid-day sessions. The summit is free for all attendees, but you must register to attend. The summit is only open to black individuals who identify as women so that they can develop the tools to advocate and create and build networks. The theme for the 2012 summit is PYT: Pleasure, Youth, and Transformation will focus on providing participants with the tools to navigate the social issues they face surrounding sex, sexuality, and gender.
