Each week, The CSPH answers questions that have been submitted anonymously through Formspring. This week’s question is: What if I’m interested in employment with The CSPH?
Thank you for taking an interest in working with The CSPH! Unfortunately, we’re not currently hiring staff. That said, if you’re still interested in being involved with The CSPH, we suggest that you apply to our internship program, which recruits three times a year for fall, spring, and summer. Our summer internship application deadline just passed, but you can e-mail us at info@thecsph.org if you would like to be contacted when our fall internship applications are released.
The CSPH internship is a great experience for those who are interested in human sexuality and are seeking to learn more about the profession. Although primarily designed for college students, recent graduates, and emerging sexuality professionals, our internship is open to all individuals. It is also a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know you as a person and witness your work firsthand, while also giving you an idea as to our organizational culture. Therefore, we recommend that anyone interested in eventually pursuing employment with us first intern (or at least volunteer).
If you are already an established sexuality professional, you can also collaborate with The CSPH. Collaboration with The CSPH entails opportunities to work with us during community and professional development endeavors. If you’re interested in collaborating with us, contact us at aida@thecsph.org.
