F-Sex is a workshop pertaining to female sexuality that is open to all people over the age of 18 in the community. The workshop focuses on empowering individuals through the creation and maintenance of a safe space in which each participant shares experiences to help them learn and grow with and from one another.
F-Sex is a space dedicated to having open, ongoing conversations about sexuality and the female experience, however you may define it. Through group activities and discussion, participants collaborate in the creation of a space that fosters dialogue, learning, and a sense of community. No formal applications are necessary, but we request that people submit a brief introduction email to Hannah_Jones@brown.edu so we can best prepared!
Anyone over 18 is welcome to attend, and we strive to make it an inclusive group that honors all voices as having something valuable to say. Nothing but your thoughts, ideas and experiences are necessary to participate. Bring yourself!
The first meeting for F-Sex will be March 4 from 6 to 8. At this first meeting we will be discussing what topics we will be covering in F-Sex and getting to know each other. Come to the Center and find out more! If you have any questions, feel free to contact Hannah Jones at Hannah_Jones@brown.edu. All are welcome!

Any medical issue can affect sexual desire and abilities, but cancer and cancer treatment can create challenges that can make enjoying sexuality even harder. If you’re living with cancer, you’re a cancer survivor, and/or your partner is, The Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health has created a space for people to safely gather to talk about sexuality related issues.
The monthly discussion group will consist of guided conversations on how to work with you or your partner’s new libido. These open conversation will help to facilitate the rediscovery of sex with your new body. Along with promoting open conversation, this group will provide an opportunity to establish a supportive community where sharing what society does not always know how to address is encouraged. Each month, Megan Andelloux, director of The CSPH, will provide suggestions, tips, and tools to make sexy time enjoyable and fun with all these changes.
The Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health is dedicated to providing resources to help you through this transition. Sexuality is a part of life and The CSPH is happy to help all individuals feel comfortable and sexy in their bodies.
This discussion group is free and is open to all interested individuals and/or couples. Coffee and bagels will be provided.
PHACTS will meet on the second Sunday of every month from 11 AM to 12:30 AM:
March 10th
April 14th
May 12th
June 9th
July 14th

Porn. Fantasies. Rough Sex. These are all topics that the feminist community has furiously been debating for years. Can you really be a feminist and enjoy fantasizing or engaging in these sexual behaviors? Doesn’t that break some sort of feminist code? How can a person justify working for the equality and safety of all when in the bedroom they want to be submissive or dominant? In this workshop we will explore the question of “How can you be a feminist and dirty at the same time?” in addition to conversation and activities regarding sexual desires, attitudes, myth-busting, and creating comfort within your desires that will help you learn that yes, dirty (and squeaky clean!) sex-positive feminists do exist.

We’ll skim through some of the most historical naughty passages, discuss the effects they had on society, and peruse the tidbits your Historical Lit class DIDN’T talk about.

A lot of people think that when a woman reaches “a certain age”, the sexual spark has gone out. A common misconception in our youth-obsessed culture is that as women approach menopause and beyond they lose interest in or cannot enjoy intimate physical relationships, and are more or less sexually “dead.” Nothing could be further from the truth.
In this workshop for women who are approaching menopause or older, as well as for those who can imagine they will be ‘older women’ one day, we will explore the themes of sexuality and new opportunities for celebrating it as we age, as well as the many benefits of maintaining sexual health in mid- and later life.
