In the early 2000s, the CSPH’s founder and director (Megan Andelloux) started Menarche Parties–a celebration of all things menstrual. Due to the culture of shame and fear regarding the shedding of the uterine lining, The CSPH provides support and resources for people who are looking to become more inclusive of their teachings regarding menstruation.
As part of rentable kits, we have a wide array of unique materials for education about menstrual health, menstruation, historical and cultural approaches to menstruation, advertisements and craft activities. Qualified CSPH members can rent these out to hold their own menarche party or menstrual education workshops.
