Zany has a minimalistic design to match its casual nature. Covered in bright blue body-safe silicone that is smooth to the touch and has practically no drag, the top part of the toy features two tiny silicone prongs extending from its head, like bunny ears. Although it is marketed as a clitoral vibrator, Zany’s handheld size and the tiny prongs on the top of the toy mean it can be used in a variety of ways. Though it seems designed primarily for external stimulation, as it is not very long or large and lacks a flange that would make it appropriate for anal play, there is literally no end to the number of places you can apply its sensual buzz. Some areas it might be particularly well-suited for include the frenulum on a penis, with the prongs tracing it lightly on either side, and the introitus (vaginal opening), where the prongs can deliver a teasing tickle to the outer edges of the vagina. Important Things To Note
Zany comes in an eye-popping box to match its fun personality. There is a true-to-size, full-color image of the 90mm-long vibrator on the side of the box, so although it is not immediately recognizable as a sex toy, there is no disguising what the box contains. You can keep the box for storage or opt to store Zany in any small box or bag, or why not just stand it up on your side table, loud and proud?
During use, Zany can be used with lubricant to increase pleasure, but stay away from silicone-based lubes so as not to ruin the flawless finish on its friendly face. It produces a noticeable buzzing sound but should not be noticeable across long distances or through walls, making it discreet in volume as well as in size. While the toy can be used penetratively, do be careful to keep a tight grip as it is not designed to be inserted deep into a vagina, and should NEVER be inserted deep into an anus due to the lack of a large base to ensure safe anal play. Although Zany does not come with a lock feature, the twist and turn operating system is tight enough that it should not turn on even when jostled around in a messy handbag or carry-on. If you’re really concerned about accidental public vibration, you can easily remove the battery during travel.
Though Zany is advertised as waterproof, and its design appears to be relatively watertight, it does consist of two separable halves with a motor and battery, so it is probably not recommended for complete submersion in water. So leave it out of your swimming pool, but feel free to take it into the shower with you. Isn’t it nice to always have a friend at hand to shower with?
Keeping It Clean
Clean Zany by hand using warm water and gentle soap, or with a specially designed toy cleaner. The especially smooth silicone finish means that it does not collect dust and lint as easily as other silicone toys, but you might still want to wipe it down quickly before and after use if you are storing it without packaging.
Ultimately, Zany is an affordable bullet vibrator that will work for most bodies and most preferences, in addition to being more durable and well-made than most similar bullets currently on the market.
