Center Stage Sexual Aid: Toyfriend’s Cheeky

Each week, The CSPH takes a look at a sexual aid that can be just so darn spectacular for some people that it needs to be highlighted. This week’s sexual aid is the Cheeky by Toyfriend!

How does the product work?

A sleek and user-friendly vibrator, Cheeky is made for both external and internal G-zone stimulation. At around six inches long and four inches wide, this medium-sized toy is a fun shade of “Smurf blue” and made of smooth, body-safe silicone. Controlled by a button on the bottom, the five different sensations offered by the Cheeky are a high and low speed, in addition to three different pulsation patterns. Holding the button down will also turn off the vibrator.

The Cheeky’s structure and vibration modes make it enjoyable for a variety of solo and partner play activities. While the bulbous head has a tapered and slightly bent tip making it ideal for the G-zone, the vibrations are also strongest at the tip, providing concentrated sensations that are perfect for clitoral and external play, in addition to other parts of the body. Although the toy is marketed to vulva-owners, it can also be used to stimulate parts of the penis, making it ideal for all kinds of foreplay!

Important Things to Note:

Included with the Cheeky are two AAA batteries, extra convenient as these are required to power the toy. Because it is made of silicone, be sure to use only water-based lubricant when playing, as silicone-based lube will deteriorate the materials of the vibrator. It’s also fairly quiet, and is virtually silent against background sounds, so it’s great for those who worry about disturbing roommates.

If you’re into playtime in the shower, the Cheeky is also waterproof, although it shouldn’t be completely submerged because of seams for the battery compartment. This toy should also not be used for any anal play, as it doesn’t have a flange.

Keeping it Clean:
Cleaning the Cheeky is as easy as using it: the toy can be cleaned with a toy cleaner or just plain old antibacterial soap and water. Because the silicone coating can attract lint, be sure to clean it before and after use. It can be stored in more discreet boxes, or proudly displayed on a stand, included with the toy.
