Each week the CSPH takes a look at a sexual aid that can be just so darn spectacular for some people, that it needs to be highlighted. This week the sexual aid is Pink Indulgence Crème
How does this contraption work anyway?
Pink Indulgence Crème is a water-based lube with a touch of silicone to extend lubrication time, giving it a soft, slick sensation when applied. The extra bit of silicone also makes this lube a little thicker, giving it a silky, creamy consistency that most water-based lubes do not have.
Important Things to Note:
While the consistency and feeling of this lubrication is much smoother (and thus feels better) than other water-based lubes, it requires frequent re-application because the main ingredient is still water, which quickly absorbs into the skin. Pink Indulgence Crème is non-staining, so there is no need to worry about getting it on the sheets, and is glycerin-free, making it healthier for use in the vagina.
Pink Indulgence Crème is water-based, so it is safe to use with condoms, gloves, and dental dams. It is also safe to use with most sexual aids; however, because there is a little bit of silicone added, it is probably best to not utilize this lube with toys that are made of silicone since silicone toys and silicone lubes do not mix…Just to be safe! To anyone who is looking for all the qualities of a water-based lube, but prefers the smoothness of a silicone lube, this might be the right lube for you.
